Adapt to the Individual Structural Yoga Therapy The most common place to begin is with a Structural Yoga Therapy session to address physical issues that have resulted from injuries, illness or stress and to personalize your yoga practices. First session begins with an evaluation of your posture, strength, and flexibility, and an assessment of the unique way your body has adapted to Life. Once your assessment is completed a personalized yoga routine will be created. Yoga practice can dramatically change us, improving health and well-being. Yet, every body is unique. You may still be struggling with stress or residual pain from past injuries from which you have never fully recovered. Illness, pain and chronic stress always impact your posture and can cause structural imbalances. In addition, you may have postural imbalance like spinal curvatures (scoliosis), elbow carrying angles, knock knees, or other patterns in your body creating inefficient patterns where weakness and stress may accumulate. Structural Yoga Therapy can dramatically correct your posture, changes of spinal curvatures up to 50% have been achieved with guidance for 2 years, and your nagging aches and back pain can be eliminated. Booking Sessions: At the Workshops page you can see where he is throughout the year. For those unable to set appointments at his programs or at our new home in Novato, California consider sessions via phone, email or video sessions by downloading www.skype.com. Remote sessions work best if you audio or videotape them. Sessions can be given by US and international graduates of the SYT Course in your area for personalized guidance under his supervision. A second format is based on Mukunda's new book Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy covering principles that may involve lifestyle changes to deepen the energetic and spiritual benefits of Yoga. This book details his method of adapting to the energetic and Ayurvedic conditions of each individual. This method can assist students to discover the underlying 3 unique forms of Ayurvedic Yogasana, pranayama, and meditation practice that create a serene sattvic state of consciousness. This process often resolves both physical and energetic conflicts that are not resolved by physical or medical therapies. AYT will take your physical practice to a much deeper level and will promote a spiritual lifestyle. Chinnamasta may offer you next to the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy guidance on life style, nutrition, detoxification, rejuvenation and a large variety of ayurvedic traditional body treatments to cleanse and/or rejuvenate the body-mind-spirit. www.shivashaktiloka.com
